This budget friendly family car is one of the longest running cars manufactured in India. This car is for those who want a basic car with basic features like AC, music system, etc. the car comes in two variants, LXI and LXI optional priced at 4.66 lakhs and 4.71 lakhs respectively. The vehicle gets only driver airbag, no ABS and EBD for the base variant. The top of the line variant gets infotainment system while dual airbags and ABS with EBD is available from standard optional.  It gets a 796 cc engine which produces 40 bhp at 6000 rpm and 60 Nm at 3500 rpm of max power and max torque respectively. Maruti Suzuki Alto LXi CNG is available in Manual transmission and offered in 6 colours: Granite Grey, Cerulian Blue, Mojito Green, Uptown Red, Silky Silver and Solid White.With its pocket friendly running as well as maintenance cost, the vehicle is a good option for first time car buyers who are low on a budget.

The Wagon R gets a tall stance similar to the other cars of this segment. It is powered by a 998 cc the engine produces 58 bhp of power and 78 Nm of torque. The car gets ABS with EBD, airbags, etc. the CNG is available only in the LXI and LXI option. Both the variants don’t get any kind of music system. What you get is a basic car. The price starts at 5.70 lakhs to 5.77 lakh rupees. This car can be used as a taxi more than a family car as very less features are available on offer.

One thing which is kept as it is with the new generation is the tall boy stance of the car which gives a lot of spacious feeling inside the cabin. It gets a 1086 cc engine which is available with a Manual transmission which produces 59.17bhp of power and 85.31Nm of torque. CNG is available with two variants, Magna and Sportz. It gets ABS with EBD, driver side airbag, air conditioner, etc. the Sportz variant gets a music system.
